Many lessons were learned during the campaigns, for example how much hard work a grassroots campaign is.  My father and I knocked on  25,000 doors. Campaigning door to door made a big difference. I enjoyed getting a chance to talk to the voters and listening to there concern and answering questions that were important to them. I believe that I would be a strong candidate for City Council, having an outgoing, engaging personality with experience interacting with people. Being a professional teacher and entertainer, I have developed exceptional communication skills. My profession enables me in large part to set my own hours; I have the time to run a grassroots, labor-intensive campaign.   Having been a committeeman for 7 years and also elected Judge of Elections in the 35th ward, I’m very active in my community and well liked by both Republicans and Democrats. I have spent most of my life fighting for the issues that are important to my community.  I see the problems that are facing our district, and can help solve these problems.  We desperately need a new strong voice in this district. Being a family man with integrity, determination and respect for our community and city, I will fight for our neighborhoods and all of Philadelphia in City Hall.
